Gayle Super-Hundred not enough: SA beat WI

So this is what Twenty20 is all about then. A team which is chasing an improbable asking run rate of 10.26 does it with 14 balls remaining!!
6's and 4's rained at the Wanderers tonight as host South Africa became the first team to chase a 200+ total in a Twenty20 international. Earlier in the evening, Chris Gayle became the first batsman to compile a hundred in the shortest version of cricket. Gayle scored 117 runs at a stupendous strike rate of 205, hitting 10 sixes and 7 boundaries.
(Amazing) Match Statistics:
Total no. of 6's : 18
Total no. of 4's : 36
Total no. of runs scored: 413 in 37.4 overs
Pollock's bowling analysis: 4-0-52-1
Most economical bowler - Fidel Edwards : 3-0-21-1
South Africa's average run rate: 11.78
...and the party has just begun!!
